Man dies after accident at Terex plant in Omagh

A man has died after an accident at his workplace in Omagh last week.

Stevie McTeague, who was 51, and lived in the County Tyrone town, died in the South West Acute hospital at the weekend. He was a married father of two.

The accident happened at the Terex manufacturing plant last Thursday. A second man is understood to have been less seriously injured.

The factory makes mobile crushing, screening and recycling equipment.

In a statement following the accident last week, Terex said it would "work with both internal and external experts to investigate the cause".
