Dublin shooting: Man in court over murder of Michael Barr in Dublin

A 29-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a County Tyrone man in Dublin.

Michael Barr, 34, who was from Strabane, was killed in the Sunset House pub on 25 April.

Eamonn Cumberton, from Mountjoy Street in Dublin, appeared at the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin on Sunday morning.

A detective told the court the accused made no response when he was arrested and charged on Saturday evening.

Det Sgt Brian Delaney gave evidence of arresting, charging and cautioning Mr Cumberton.

The accused was granted free legal aid and remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court next Friday.
