North Belfast: security alert ends after pipe bomb found

A pipe bomb has been discovered at Fortfield Place in north Belfast, police have said.

The device has been removed for forensic examination.

A number of residents who were moved due to the security alert have been allowed to return to their homes.

Fortfield Place has been reopened to traffic between Lepper Street and Spamount Street.
