Two men charged after 'cannabis worth an estimated £1m' is seized in Belfast

Two men have been charged after herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of about £1m was seized in Belfast.

Police said the suspected Class B drug was found in two vehicles during a stop and search at Dargan Road, north Belfast, on Tuesday evening.

Two men, aged 36 and 24, have been charged in connection with the incident.

They are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
