Police are investigating a report of an explosive device left near a railway line in County Armagh.

They have returned to the scene of an earlier alert at Lake Street, Lurgan.

The train line is closed as the investigation continues.

Earlier on Sunday, the stretch of line on the Lisburn to Portadown rail link was searched.

Nothing was found and it was re-opened.

But after 14:00 GMT, police returned and shut off the scene.

Train passengers are being transported by bus for that part of their journey.
