Woman injured in north Belfast Chinese takeaway robbery

A woman working in a Chinese restaurant in north Belfast was treated in hospital after a robbery in the early hours of Sunday.

Two men, wearing balaclavas and armed with knives, went into the takeaway on the Crumlin Road at about 01:00 BST.

One of them took money from the till before they fled on foot.

The woman suffered an injury to her head after being pushed by one of the robbers.

One of the men was about 5ft 6ins tall, heavily built and was wearing a grey tracksuit and black jacket.

The other was about 6ft tall, also heavily built and was wearing blue jeans and a black top.
