Two questioned on suspicion of trafficking in Bangor released

Two men arrested in County Down on suspicion of offences linked to people trafficking and prostitution have been released unconditionally.

The pair, aged 38 and 25, were arrested on Wednesday following a house search at Holborn Court in Bangor.

Police said the 38-year-old had been transferred into the custody of UK Border Agencies in connection with suspected immigration offences.

The arrests were not linked to an operation into suspected people trafficking in Portadown.
