Staff threatened in Lisburn robbery

A female shop assistant has been left badly shaken after being threatened by a man with a screwdriver during a robbery in Lisburn.

The robber, who had a scarf tied around his face, entered the shop on the Ballymacash Road at about 16:05 BST on Saturday.

He threatened the woman with the screwdriver before making off with the cash till.

No-one was injured during the robbery.

The robber escaped along with another man in a car which had been stolen in Dunmurry on Wednesday.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
