Battling the German U-boat menace

Bentra Golf Course is in the seaside town of Whitehead on Northern Ireland's Antrim coast.

During World War One it was the site of an airship mooring station - a key location in the fight against German U-boats.

Guy Warner is the author of Airships Over Ulster and vice-chairman of the Ulster Aviation Society. For the BBC's World War One at Home project, Guy looks back at Bentra's history.
