Ballymena: Three arrested over £150,000 cannabis plants find

Three people have been arrested after cannabis plants with a street value of £150,000 were seized in County Antrim.

Police officers on patrol in Ballymena became suspicious and found the drugs during a search at Cullybackey Road on Thursday 20 February.

Detective Chf Insp Bob Blemmings said: "This is an example of excellent on-the-ground policing.

"It has resulted in a large quantity of drugs being taken out of circulation."

Police have appealed to anyone with information about the drugs seizure to contact them.
