Man forced into car and shot in legs in Turf Lodge, Belfast

A 29-year-old man has been shot four times in a paramilitary-style attack in west Belfast.

The victim was walking in the area of Balkan Street/Leeson Street at about 21:00 BST on Tuesday when he was forced into a car by three men.

He was driven to Downfine Walk in the Turf Lodge area where he was shot twice in each leg.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
