A facilities management firm has said it is to create 70 jobs in Northern Ireland after winning a number of new contracts.

Noonan Services provides security, cleaning and building maintenance to both public and private sector clients.

The Dublin-based company currently employs 1,000 people across Northern Ireland.

The firm said it had secured the new contracts from a corporate law firm and a major government department.

John O'Donoghue, chief executive of Noonan Services, said he was confident the firm would continue to increase its market share across Northern Ireland.

"Our team has worked exceptionally hard to deliver a first-rate service for clients. This investment represents a vote of confidence in them and the Northern Ireland economy," he said.
