Woman charged with having bomb components in her car
A woman has appeared in court charged with having what police believe were components to be used by dissident republicans to trigger a bomb.
Nuala Gormley, 36, from Morgan Park, Dromore, County Tyrone, is accused of having a remote control receiver.
She is also charged with having a transmitter and antenna in circumstances likely to be of use to terrorists.
She told police she knew nothing about the items.
They were discovered inside a modified oil drum in the boot of her Nissan Almera car.
She was arrested after officers stopped a car she was driving at the Drum Road outside Cookstown in County Tyrone on Tuesday night.
Wellington boots, gloves and coats were also recovered by the police.
Bail was refused at Dungannon Magistrates' Court and she was remanded in custody until next month.
