The 'Katie Taylor effect' inspires young women to box in Northern Ireland

Irish boxer Katie Taylor is now guaranteed a medal at London 2012 after beating Great Britain's Natasha Jonas in the 60kg division quarter-final on Monday.

Taylor is the current world champion and this is the first time women's boxing has been included at the Olympics.

Her success in the ring has inspired many young women to take up the sport in Northern Ireland, as BBC Newsline's Emily Thomas reports.
