Pair in court after seizure of cannabis plants

A man and a woman have been charged with a number of offences after the seizure of cannabis plants with an estimated value of £275,000 in County Armagh.

The 44-year-old man and 47-year-old woman have been charged with possession of class B drugs and with intent to supply and cultivating and supplying.

The seizure was made on Tuesday in the Aghory Hill area near Richhill.

They are due to appear before Newry Magistrates Court on Thursday.
