Victor Stewart murder: two men and a woman released

Three people arrested over the murder of a County Armagh farmer in 2008 have been released pending reports to the Public Prosecution Service.

Victor Stewart, 45, was beaten to death at his isolated farmhouse in Middletown.

The trio, two men aged 21 and 22 and a 50-year-old woman, were arrested on Thursday.

Last month, Peter Joseph Moloney, 23, of Drumarg Park, Armagh was charged with Mr Stewart's murder.

He was also accused of stealing from a safe from his home.

His father, also called Peter, 48, from Drumarg Villas in Armagh, appeared in court charged with perverting the course of justice and withholding information.
