Police released man questioned over Rathcoole riots

A 25-year-old man who was arrested for questioning about recent riots in Newtownabbey has been released.

Police said a file would be prepared for the Public Prosecution Service.

Up to 200 youths were involved in trouble at the mainly loyalist Rathcoole estate in late October when six cars and a bus were burned out.

On Thursday, a 16-year-old boy was charged in connection with the rioting. He is due to appear at Belfast Youth Court later this month.

Two other men - aged 17 and 19 - have been released without charge.
