A man has suffered a fractured arm, fractured cheek bone, an injury to his head and bruising after being attacked by a gang in west Belfast.
The 41-year-old was assaulted by five men who knocked him to the ground and attacked him on the Stewartstown Road.
It happened some time between 0900 GMT and 1000 GMT on Sunday 31 October, but was only reported to the PSNI when the man was released from hospital.
Police said a motive for the attack is still being investigated.
Detectives want to talk to two men who were driving past in a white van and stopped to help the man.
