House is targeted in north Belfast arson attack

Police are investigating an arson attack in north Belfast.

A shopping trolley with rubbish in it was set on fire against the back of a house in Clifton Drive shortly after 1600 GMT on Saturday.

It is understood that damage was caused to the outside of the house and to its kitchen.

The occupants of the house were able to leave by the front door and there are no reports of any injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses.
