Police officers cut from vehicle after Derry crash

Five people, including two police officers, have been injured in a road accident in Londonderry.

The policemen had to be cut from their vehicle following the collision early on Monday morning.

Three women were also injured as a result of the incident, which happened at the junction of the Buncrana Road and the Racecourse Road.

All five were treated in hospital, but have been discharged and their injuries are not said to be life-threatening.
