Police recover guns and bomb in Tallaght, Dublin

Irish police have recovered two shotguns, a pipebomb and ammunition during a search of open ground in County Dublin.

Police said the items, which were found in Kiltipper in Tallaght, were discovered during a planned operation against suspected dissident republican activity.

No-one was arrested but police said the operation is continuing.

The search was led by officers from the Irish police's Special Detective Unit.
