Man charged with manslaughter of homeless man

A 39-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of a homeless man in south Belfast.

The 46-year-old man, was found lying at Bains Place, close to Blackstaff Square on Friday night. He died a short time later at the scene.

The 39-year-old has been charged with manslaughter and is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

A 22-year-old man questioned by police has since been released without charge.
