Man injured in assault at Lisburn taxi firm

A 56-year-old man has been taken to hospital with serious head and spinal injuries following an incident at a taxi company in Lisburn, County Antrim.

Police said he was allegedly pushed down a flight of stairs at the premises at Tonagh Drive following an altercation shortly after 0130 BST.

A man in his 30s has been arrested.

He is currently helping police with their enquiries.
