Harrogate man in court to deny Ripley stabbing murder

A man has appeared in court to deny murdering a man found stabbed to death in a car in North Yorkshire.
Oktay Kilic, 40, of Kent Road, Harrogate, pleaded not guilty at Leeds Crown Court to killing Mark Berney.
The body of Mr Berney, 44, from Knaresborough, was discovered in a vehicle at Whipley Bank in Ripley, near Harrogate, on 3 August.
Mr Kilic was remanded in custody ahead of his trial, which is due to begin on 12 January.
