Motorcycles worth £50,000 stolen in North Yorkshire
Five motorcycles valued at more than £50,000 have been stolen in North Yorkshire.
The Harley Davidson bikes were taken between 3 and 12 November from a property at Snape, near Bedale, while the owner was on holiday.
Officers believe the incident is linked to the theft of two vintage bikes near Ripon on Saturday.
The bikes, each worth £2,500, stolen in the second theft were recovered from a nearby field by officers.
Det Con Donna Anderson, from North Yorkshire Police, said: "Whoever is responsible for stealing these motorcycles must have used either a lorry or two large vans to transport them.
"Therefore, I am appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles in the area around the time of the burglary to contact the police with information."
