Fulford School in York to host sports stars
Two sportswomen are visiting a school in York with the aim of inspiring hundreds of young people.
Former world bobsleigh champion Nicola Minichiello and Thai-boxer Rachael MacKenzie will share their experiences with pupils at Fulford School.
Minichiello, born in Sheffield, said: "Sport helps people think, helps people listen, helps people to speak up and helps people work together."
The visit is part of a tour of Yorkshire and the Humber.
Minichiello added: "Different sports inspire different people, but one thing is true: there's a sport for everyone and it can change your life."
Minichiello and MacKenzie, who is from Harrogate, will also be visiting York High School next month and Westfield Sports College next year.
