Men arrested after woman hurt in Harrogate brick attack
Police have arrested two men after a woman suffered head injuries when she was hit with what police believe was a brick at a Harrogate cash machine.
The 63-year-old was taken to hospital after she was assaulted at the HSBC bank in the town's Skipton Road at about 0500 GMT on Friday.
North Yorkshire Police said the woman was at the machine when she was hit several times and had her bag stolen.
Two men, aged 22 and 26, are being questioned in police custody.
The force said the woman had been taken to Harrogate District Hospital for treatment. She has since been discharged.
