Man charged over arson attacks across south Wiltshire

A man has been charged with arson after several "suspicious" fires involving dozens of cars and an aircraft across Wiltshire, police have said.

Aaron Edward Richardson, 26, from Durrington, has been charged with four counts of arson.

Police said the charges related to a vehicle fire in Porton, an aircraft in Old Sarum Airfield, to multiple vehicles and a Portaloo in Bulford.

Mr Richardson is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates' Court later.

Wiltshire Police said the attacks took place between 01:38 GMT on Friday and 04:40 GMT on Saturday.
