Hundreds of pigs killed in Wiltshire fire

More than 750 piglets and sows have died in a fire on a Wiltshire farm.

Eight fire engines were sent to tackle the blaze at two barns on Sandridge Farm, Brick Hill in Bromham on Tuesday evening.

Relief crews attended through the night and the fire was extinguished at about 05:00 BST, the fire service said.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said crews had been drawn from a number of stations to deal with the incident. The cause of the fire is unknown.
