Man remanded in custody over Swindon town centre death

A man accused of manslaughter following the death of a 40-year-old man in Swindon, has been remanded in custody.

Grzegorz Beyer died in hospital two days after being assaulted close to a fountain in the town centre, in the early hours of last Monday.

Marcin Koschielniak, 27, appeared before magistrates earlier.

His brother Zbigniew, 29, who was charged with actual bodily harm against a second man Lucasz Domagala, was released on conditional bail.

The pair, from Swindon, are due before Bristol Crown Court on Wednesday.
