Motorcyclist killed in crash at Charlton All Saints

A motorcyclist has been killed in a collision with a car in south Wiltshire.

The crash happened on the A338 at Charlton All Saints on Saturday shortly before 12:15 GMT, closing the road for almost nine hours.

Police said the victim, aged in his 60s, sustained serious leg injuries and was taken to Salisbury District Hospital where he later died.

The car driver was also injured but is not in a life-threatening condition.

Wiltshire Police is asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them.
