Seven bailed after teen stabbed in Swindon

Seven teenage boys who were arrested after a man was stabbed in Swindon town centre have been released on bail.

A large area around Wharf Green was cordoned off for several hours following the attack on Saturday, at about 19:30 GMT.

The 18-year-old victim was taken to a major trauma unit at Southmead Hospital in Bristol with "serious injuries".

Wiltshire Police arrested nine teenage boys aged 13-18 and two still remain in custody.
