Emergency calls to Wiltshire Police were diverted to another force for an hour after a "technical difficulty" hit both the 999 and 101 call systems.

All 999 calls were routed to Gloucestershire Police and the 101 service was said to be out of use - but the problem was resolved after an hour.

The 999 calls were back to being handled by Wiltshire Police, said a spokeswoman.

Also, all 101 calls were once again being handled by Wiltshire Police.
