Tests to establish how a father and two boys died at a flat in Wiltshire are due to take place later.

Graham Anderson, 36, was found in Auchinleck House, Tidworth, with the bodies of two boys, aged three and 11, on Saturday.

Police said they were treating the children's deaths as suspicious but were not looking for anyone else.

The children's mother has been informed. Officers said she was shocked and distressed.

It is thought there had been a "child sharing arrangement" but the two boys had been living with their mother in Andover, Hampshire.

A Great Western Ambulance Service spokesman said it received an emergency call just after 13:00 BST on Saturday.

Wiltshire Police said the alarm was raised by Mr Anderson's landlady, who was due to show prospective new tenants around his flat.

Det Ch Insp Ian Saunders said he was keen to talk to anybody who had seen Mr Anderson or the two boys in the past week.

"He was a regular bus user and I now need to trace his movements, and those of the boys during the week leading up to the discovery of their bodies," he said.

The property on Sidbury Heights has been cordoned off while forensic tests continue.

Wiltshire Police said the force was unable to release the names of the children until they are formally identified by a relative, which is likely to be in the next 24 hours.
