Man killed in A30 collision near Salisbury named

A 91-year-old man who died following a road collision near Salisbury in Wiltshire has been named by police.

Albert William Payne from Stockbridge, Hampshire, died in hospital after the collision on the A30 near Lopcombe Corner on Saturday.

Wiltshire Police said two cars collided at about 17:20 BST. Mr Payne died later at Salisbury District Hospital.

A 47-year-old man from Salisbury was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
