Swindon roundabout roadworks to last 45 weeks

Roadworks on one of Swindon's busiest junctions will begin on Monday and are due to last 45 weeks.

The work on Whalebridge Roundabout, in Fleming Way, is part of preparations for the start of the Union Square town centre regeneration project.

The inside lane on the roundabout will be shut for the duration. The inside lane on the three dual carriageway approaches will also be closed.

Plans for the redevelopment are expected to be submitted this spring.
