Three men have been arrested following a disturbance in Swindon in which a man suffered leg injuries.

Officers were called to Groundwell Road in the early hours of Sunday morning following reports of a fight.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said the victim was taken to hospital but it is not thought his injuries are life-threatening.

"When officers attended they found a man with stab-type injuries to his leg," the spokesman said.

Scenes of crime officers are examining part of Groundwell Road, which is cordoned-off between Lincoln Street and Leicester Street.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident, which happened about 3am, is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers," the force spokesman added.
