Wiltshire police warning over 'suspicious' man

People in parts of Wiltshire are being asked to be vigilant after a man was reported acting suspiciously in three villages.

Three women told police that a man had apparently pretended to be injured to get them to talk to him. He then made inappropriate comments.

The first incidents happened in Zeals and Burton. The third happened in Southbrook Lane, Mere, on Tuesday.

The man is described as aged about 22 and had dark hair.

He was wearing a white jumper with black writing, blue jeans, trainers and glasses.

Insp Dave Minty, of Wiltshire Police, said: "I am very concerned about this man's behaviour as we don't know what his intentions were and the ladies involved were upset by his actions."

He appealed for anyone who knows the man's identity to come forward.
