Woman scarred by glassing attack in Swindon nightclub

A woman's face has been left scarred after she was glassed by another woman in a Swindon nightclub.

The 21-year-old woman was in the Suju club in Old Town when her face and chest were attacked with a glass.

She suffered deep lacerations to her nose, lips and chest, and underwent surgery at the Great Western Hospital.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the attack and has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Wiltshire Police appealed for witnesses to the attack which happened in the garden in the rear smoking area of the club at about 0230 BST on 12 September.

The offender is described as white, aged 22 to 25, with blonde hair.

She was wearing a black dress and was with another woman who was white with dark hair and aged in her 20s.
