Sunderland death: Four held after man found dead at house

Four people are being held by police after a man was found dead in a house in Sunderland.

The man, who has not been named, but is in his 40s, was found at the property in Kemble Square on Saturday night and had suffered "significant injuries".

A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said detectives were treating the death as "unexplained".

A cordon remains in place around the property, which is in the Downhill area of the city.
