David Walsh murder: Four men plead not guilty

Four men have denied the murder of a man in Sunderland.

David Walsh, 45, was found badly injured on Canon Cockin Street in Hendon just after 23:00 GMT on 20 November. He died later in hospital.

Four men, aged between 19 and 40, pleaded not guilty to murder via videolink at Newcastle Crown Court.

They were remanded in custody to appear at Newcastle Crown Court on 8 June. The trial is expected to last up to five weeks.
