John Dockray named as Northumberland crash victim

A driver who was killed in a collision between two cars in Northumberland has been named.

The crash happened at 13:40 GMT on Tuesday on the A69 close to the junction with Red Path, near Haltwhistle.

John Dockray, 29, from Hexham, was killed. The driver of the second car, a man in his 60s, suffered minor injuries.

The road was closed for about three hours.
