Tina Casey murder probe: Tests reveal stab wounds

A woman found dead at her Northumberland home had suffered multiple stab wounds, police have said.

Tina Casey, 42, of Wallridge Drive, Holywell, was found on Monday after officers investigating a car crash found items which led them to her home.

A woman, 57, who was driving the car, which crashed in Shiremoor, North Tyneside, and a man, 32, were later arrested on suspicion of murder.

The woman is being treated in hospital. The man was bailed pending inquiries.
