Voyeurism charges council worker to face crown court

A council worker from Northumberland accused of voyeurism and making indecent images of children will be tried at crown court.

Liam James Gormley was charged with 29 offences after images were seized during a police investigation.

The 32-year-old from Blyth entered no plea when he appeared at South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court.

He was granted conditional bail and will appear at Newcastle Crown Court on 28 September.

The charges relate to voyeurism, possessing, making and distributing indecent images of children, and possessing extreme pornography.
