Hartlepool death 'no longer suspicious'

The death of a man in Hartlepool is no longer being treated as murder, police have said.

Officers were called to an address in Church Street at 05:30 BST by ambulance crews, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following a post-mortem examination, the death is no longer being treated as suspicious.

A 50-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder but has now been released with no further action.

Cleveland Police said a file was being sent to the coroner.
