A man arrested on suspicion of raping a 15-year-old girl on a cycle path has been released without charge.

The 27-year-old was initially questioned and bailed over the attack in Stockton, Teesside, on 21 September.

Cleveland Police warned teenagers to stay together in secluded areas as a "precautionary measure" in the wake of the assault.

He has been charged with two counts of sexual assault in connection with separate incidents, police said.
