Missing girl found after two days

A teenage girl who police believed may have gone abroad has been found safe a few miles from her home on Teesside.

Officers said it was out of character for the girl from Stockton, who is of British Pakistani origin, to go missing.

She was last seen on Thursday in Cromwell Avenue and there was concern for her welfare.

A Cleveland Police spokeswoman confirmed she was found on Saturday evening.
