Hamed Vaziri murder: Abdourahamane Barry detained in hospital

A Middlesbrough man has been ordered to be detained in hospital indefinitely after murdering a man in the town.

The body of Hamed Vaziri, 27, was discovered at a property on Carlow Street on 25 January.

Abdourahamane Barry, 26, of Carlow Street, Middlesbrough, was found to be unfit to stand trial at Teesside Crown Court.

Mr Justice Green ordered that he be made the subject of an indefinite hospital order.

A post-mortem examination revealed Mr Vaziri died as the result of a single stab wound.
