A19 collision: Man arrested after Teesside crash death
A man has been arrested after a lorry driver died in a three-vehicle crash on the A19 on Teesside.
Two lorries, and a Ford Focus Zetec were involved in the early-morning collision on the southbound carriageway close to the turnoff for the A174 near Thornaby.
Andrew Nimmo, 24 and from Murton, Seaham, died at the scene.
The 25-year-old driver of the second lorry is being held on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The car driver, a 37-year-old woman, was taken to James Cook University Hospital with fractures to her legs.
