Morphine stolen from ambulance on Teesside

Liquid morphine was stolen from an ambulance on Teesside while paramedics were busy.

The crew said the 250ml bottle of oromorph was taken on Saturday night when they were working in the Middlesbrough and Stockton areas.

The medication was in a labelled brown glass bottle, and in a white box with an orange stripe.

Police have warned it could be dangerous if taken and have appealed for information.
